Darrel Burnouf is the Manager, Northern Business Development and Community Relations within the Sustainability & Stakeholder Relations department at Cameco Corporation. A Metis growing up in Northern Saskatchewan, Darrel has committed his professional career to working with northerners, northern communities and northern businesses to assist in developing capacity toward economic development and since 2008 has immersed himself in Saskatchewan’s uranium mining industry and Aboriginal relations at a senior level. Through this experience, Darrel has developed exceptional insight to mining industry needs and partnering with local enterprises to foster supportive partnerships.
