CCAB is back in Vancouver at the Westin Bayshore for our two final events of 2023! Join us October 18 – 19 for the Indigenous Women in Leadership Forum (IWIL) & Evening Reception, and West Coast Business Forum & Award Dinner. The Business Forum is now SOLD OUT, but tickets are available for IWL & Evening Reception and the Award Dinner.

IWIL  begins with morning networking opportunities during Coffee Connection and the Indigenous Marketplace, where you can connect with other attendees while exploring unique and hand-crafted goods from local Indigenous artisans. Our first mainstage panel, 7 Women, 7 Minutes, 7 Stories, features some remarkable Indigenous women sharing their inspiring journeys. After lunch, we honour the 2023 IWIL recipient, Bayside Corporation CEO, Rose Paul from Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation. Gain valuable insights and practical tips on how to make the most of networking opportunities and finish the afternoon with a panel on breaking through financial barriers. In the evening, we gather in The Grand Foyer for a reception featuring Indigenous foods, specialty drinks, and live entertainment with Beatrice Love and DJ Kookum to keep the celebration going.

The West Coast Business Forum kicks off with coffee and networking, opening entertainment, mainstage panels, and breakout sessions that focus on vital topics for a thriving Indigenous economy. That evening, join us for CCAB’s Award Dinner, a celebration of Indigenous excellence, starting with a pre-dinner cocktail networking reception. The night promises to be inspiring, filled with success stories, and entertainment by Beatrice Love. We also have the privilege of honouring Chief Dr. Robert Joseph, OBC, OC, the recipient of the 2023 Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Relations, along with our Progressive Aboriginal Relations™ (PAR) recipients.
