Métis entrepreneur Keenan Beavis is the founder of Longhouse Branding & Marketing, one of the world’s largest Indigenous-owned marketing agencies that wins time back for busy leaders, freeing them to make their impact. 

Keenan’s entrepreneurial journey began at 12 years old when he learned Search Engine Optimization by growing what became the 27th most viewed YouTube channel in Canada, despite self-describing his videos as “some of the worst on the internet”.  He later went on to create a collection of online t-shirt stores where he grew his understanding of business.  He says, “when working with a low-margin product like t-shirts, you really learn how to advertise efficiently”. 

Keenan & Longhouse are on a mission to “simplify the to-do list of busy leaders so they can focus on what needs them the most. 

To-date, Longhouse has helped over 850 businesses and community organizations win back their time and generate more than $425 million in revenue.  By helping partners “Look Great”, with branding, social media & web development and “Get Seen”, with advertising & search engine optimization, Longhouse is supporting leaders in using their time where it’s most valuable. 

Keenan’s innovation, leadership, & impact have earned him accolades such as his university’s alumni of the year, the British Columbia Young Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year Award and inclusion in BCBusiness’s 30 Under 30 list.  Most recently Keenan was named the CCIB Young Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year. 

Beyond his business adventures, Keenan is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt and advocates as a speaker for entrepreneurship and opportunities for youth. He is passionate about empowering the next generation of young leaders across the globe.
