Renae MorriseauM'Girl

M’Girl is a ensemble of Indigenous women with stories and songs about lands, waters, community and home. Though officially performing together since 2004, their personal musical histories spans throughout each of their lives. M’Girl’s hand drum songs blend harmonies into a contemporary style that reflects their love of singing and their personal story of home.  As Urban Indigenous Women from various lands of Turtle island, they are honoured to share their songs on the traditional territories of the  xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
