Originating from the Métis homeland and Treaty 1 territory, Kristin is a proud member of the Red River Métis Nation. With over 8 years of specialized experience in the financial services industry, Kristin’s career centers on supporting Indigenous businesses and communities. Her passion lies in unlocking access to capital and forging innovative pathways for growth. At CIBC, she serves as Manager for Indigenous Markets in BC, managing relationships with Indigenous Nations and corporations across the province.

Currently enrolled in the Executive MBA in Indigenous Business and Leadership at Simon Fraser University, Kristin’s educational pursuits align with her professional dedication. She is also a certified Trauma of Money facilitator and a Canadian Private Capital Investment School graduate. As part of the inaugural cohort of the Indigenous Leadership Circle, Kristin continues to strengthen networks and foster collaboration among Indigenous leaders. Her vision, knowledge, and hands-on approach have made her a vital force in advancing Indigenous economic empowerment.
