    Denise Gairdner is an experienced Human Resource professional with 13 years’ developing and executing strategies to optimize the employee experience.  She is a leader who is passionate about her mission to serve, connect and empower employees.  Denise is a results-driven leader, with a proven track record in driving organizational growth, talent acquisition and retention as well as implementing effective employee programs and engagement strategies that are aligned to business objectives.

    Denise has extensive experience in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.  As the current Director of Human Resources at Bouchier, Canada’s largest Indigenous privately owned Civil Contracting and Facilities Management company, she plays a key role in encouraging and facilitating education, understanding and strong partnerships among employees, partners, and Indigenous communities alike.  Most recently, Denise played an integral role in the launch of the Indigenous Empower Initiative, a leading employee program designed to create community, strengthen culture and connections for all team members in support of Economic Reconciliation.

    Denise is passionate about creating engaging work environments where culture is at the forefront and strategies are people focused.  Over the years, Denise has become an influential trusted advisor to all levels of the organization from hiring, coaching to delivering measurable outcomes to enhance organizational success.

    On her personal time, Denise is a mother of 3  great young men. She enjoys traveling with her partner, kayaking and supporting her local community.
