Florence Mazerolle is a Small Business Lender with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) in Moncton, New Brunswick. Her lifes’ work is serving Canadian Entrepreneurs. She is the co-author and publisher, along with her best friend Angela Peter-Paul, of seven picture books used in New Brunswick schools to teach Mi’kmaq, Maliseet, English, and French. Three additional books are pending publication this Spring. She is a life-long learner, currently studying French as a Second Language. She is an avid reader who enjoys current affairs, allyship, politics, writing and gardening. She has recently received The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal for service, for her long history of volunteering, Diversity activities, and efforts to Truth and Reconciliation. A mother of two, she has one grandson and lives in Dieppe, New Brunswick with her husband.
